Medical Case Coordinator

Are you an experienced veterinary technician who loves being one step ahead?
Imperial Animal Hospital is looking for a Medical Case Coordinator to help our doctors, technicians, and clients navigate more complex medical cases.
What You'll Do:
- Review medical records before appointments and identify important history, medications, lab trends, and concerns.
- Prepare the DVM with a quick summary of the patient's history, current concerns, client expectations, and approved diagnostics.
- Identify client barriers such as medication difficulties, budget concerns, or confusion about treatment.
- Provide hands-on technical support, including blood draws, IV catheter placement, cystocentesis, cytology, radiographs, and treatment/sedation setup.
- Triage callbacks and client communications, including routine lab results, photos, and videos for DVM review.
- Coordinate complex cases such as urgent work-ins, drop-offs, and procedures.
- Support reception by helping determine appropriate appointment types and identifying patients who may need additional time.
- Keep medical records and alerts accurate and up to date.
What We're Looking For:
- RVT/LVT/CVT OR 4+ years of strong veterinary technician experience.
- Excellent clinical judgment and technical skills.
- Comfortable with veterinary medications, lab work, cytology, radiographs, and triage.
- Strong communication and client service skills.
- Comfortable working in Cornerstone and electronic medical records.
- Organized, dependable, and able to anticipate what the team needs next.
